When a condition affects the hands, wrists, elbows, or shoulders, it can impact every part of a person’s life. Dr. Giscard Joel Adeclat is a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon dedicated to helping his adult and pediatric patients regain their strength, mobility, and independence. He believes in a collaborative, team-based approach to care, working closely with each patient and their family to understand their goals and develop a treatment plan that fits their unique needs.

Dr. Adeclat is committed to a conservative-first philosophy. His practice is built on a foundation of open communication, ensuring that patients and their families feel informed and confident in every decision they make together.

A native of Brooklyn, NY, Dr. Adeclat’s path to medicine was uniquely shaped by his early passions. He attended the famed LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts in New York City, where he developed a deep love for music as a proficient viola player. He continued this passion at the University of Rochester, taking lessons at the Eastman School of Music. This background provides him with a special appreciation for the intricate movements of the hands and wrists, allowing him to provide a more personalized level of care for musicians and artists.
