VSI was founded in 1974 as one of the first sports medicine facilities in the United States. Over the years we have grown to become one of the most well respected clinics in the Washington DC, metropolitan area.
Our 4000 square foot facility houses a vast array of rehabilitative equipment and is staffed by the area's leading physical therapists. Our therapists are all registered and licensed by the Commonwealth of Virginia, Department of Health Professionals. Our staff has had extensive experience within the orthopedic population. We have treated a wide range of patients ranging from the professional to the everyday recreational athlete.

VSI provides comprehensive physical therapy and rehabilitative services for a wide variety of patients and diagnoses. By Virginia law, patients can only be seen with a physician's referral. The physician's prescription should include a diagnosis, frequency and duration of treatment, and any special instructions for treating your injury. It is through the combined effort of physician, therapist and patient that an effective program can be developed and carried out.
