Dr. St. Pierre is a
graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point and the
Uniformed Services University of Health Sciences in Bethesda, Maryland.
After completing his orthopaedic surgery residency at Madigan Army
Medical Center, he completed fellowships in Medical Research at the
Walter Reed Army Institute of Research and in Orthopaedic Sports
Medicine at West Point. He is certified by the American Board of
Orthopaedic Surgery and is an active member of the American Academy of
Orthopaedic Surgery, the Arthroscopy Association of North America and
The American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine.
Dr. St. Pierre is
very involved in Sports Medicine and Shoulder research and has been
recognized with several international and national awards to include:
· The 2002 O’Donoghue Sports
Medicine Research Award
· The 1995 Arthroscopy
Association Resident/Fellow Research Award
· The 1995 “Hoff Medal” as
Distinguished Graduate, Medical Research Fellowship
· The 1994 Eastern Orthopaedic
Association Resident/Fellow Research Award
Dr. St. Pierre’s
contributions to the treatment of shoulder injuries has been recognized
by his selection as one of two
· 2003 North American
Traveling Fellows to Europe by the Society of American Shoulder and
Elbow Surgeons
Dr. St. Pierre is a
dedicated medical and surgical educator and has served as:

Orthopedic Sports Medicine Fellowship Program at the Nirschl Orthopaedic
Center for Sports Medicine & Joint Reconstruction

He has been invited
to teach arthroscopic techniques around the country from Alaska to
Florida and is frequently an Associate Master Instructor at the
Arthroscopy Learning Center for Advanced Shoulder Arthroscopy
