Nirschl, M.D., has been recognized both nationally and internationally as a pioneer in the diagnosis and treatment of orthopaedic and sports injuries. In addition he has been honored for meritorious service to the Virginia Orthopaedic Society, the Virginia Orthopaedic Community, and Virginia High School Athletics.

We are proud that our physicians have graduated from accredited fellowship training programs for orthopaedic surgeons with a concentration, both clinically and surgically, on the treatment of injuries of the hand and wrist, elbow and shoulder, and hip arthroscopy.
Most insurance plans accepted
For the convenience of patients, NOC accepts most medical PPO insurance plans. Please contact our office to check on a specific plan, ask questions or make appointments. We are happy to see patients with orthopedic problems out-of-network and will make every effort to keep costs reasonable. Please call our office for details.
Patients who are out of network or with other insurance coverage are expected to pay at the time of their visit and we will submit as a courtesy to your insurance. We recommend that you check with your health insurance carrier prior to initiating treatment to clarify the specifics of your coverage.
